USEA Area IV Young Rider Sportsmanship Award
Sportsmanship is an important aspect of our sport. USEA Area IV Young Riders that strive for the qualities of true sportsmanship in all areas- consideration for fairness, ethics, and respect for team members or individuals- may be nominated to receive an award that recognizes their integrity and dedication to creating a sportsman-like atmosphere within eventing.
Area IV Young Rider Sportsmanship Award Recipients will be selected by the Area IV Young Rider Youth Council from the nominations received by the deadline. The Youth Council will select one award recipient each year. Any Youth Council members nominated will not participate in the selection process.
Sportsmanship Award recipients will be recognized on the Area IV Young Rider website and social media and presented an Area IV YR Sportsmanship Award.
NOMINATION FORM
Requirements
Nominee must be a paid member of the Area IV Young Riders program.
Any individual can make a nomination - spectator, groom, competitor, family member, etc.
You may only nominate one individual per year.
Nominations close December 10th.
The Sportsmanship Award will be presented at the end of the calendar year and/or at the Area IV Annual meeting.
